Fantasy Memory

Privacy Policy

Effective September 29, 2026

Hyperity Corp. (the "Company") explains below how the Fantasy Memory app (the "App") handles your information. In short: the App has no accounts, ads or analytics tools, and the Company does not store your photos or personal information on any server. If the App crashes, we receive only a crash report so we can fix the cause.

1. Information processed on your device

The App reads the photos and videos in the photo library you allow access to and organizes them on your device (detecting blur, duplicates and darkness, detecting whether there are faces, grouping scenes, and finding where speech or laughter occurs and how loud the sound is in videos — so that video clips are not cut mid-sentence; the sound itself is never stored or sent). All of this happens on your device, and your photos do not leave it. On Android, face detection and object labeling use Google ML Kit, which runs on the device. ML Kit does not send your photos either; it may send Google usage statistics and diagnostic information that do not identify you, to improve the feature and check for errors. The edit plans and videos you make are stored only on your device and are deleted when you delete the App.

People grouping and per-person videos (currently iPhone only): from the photos in your library, the App creates face positions, angles, eye positions and face comparison data (numbers used to compare photos), plus body joint positions in full-body photos (for height ratios), on the device, and groups similar faces together. Screenshots are excluded. This information and any names and birthdays you add are stored only on this device (and excluded from device backups), and are never sent anywhere, including to the Company or Google. The only exception is that when you request AI editing, a short context without names (an age indication, and whether it is a birthday) may be sent as described in Section 2. People grouping and per-person growth videos do not use AI (for AI Studio, see Section 2-1). Grouping may continue on the device while it is charging, even when the App is closed. It is deleted by "Delete people groups" or "Delete everything I made" in Settings, or by deleting the App.

2. Information sent when you request AI editing

When you tap "Make video" or "Remake with AI", we ask for your consent the first time and then send the following to Vertex AI (Gemini models) on Google Cloud.

What is sentReduced copies of the photos chosen for that day (512px on the long side), a few frames taken from some videos, the time taken and length of each item, the parts of videos where speech or laughter occurs (numbers in seconds — the sound itself is not sent), object label names assigned on the device (e.g. "drawing", "food"), place names found on the device from where photos were taken (iPhone only, at neighborhood or place level, e.g. "Seoul Forest (Seongdong-gu)"), and a short context organized on the device (an age indication for a child in the photos (e.g. "14 months old"), whether today is that child's birthday, whether the place is somewhere you often take photos or somewhere new, and whether the same person appears in several photos, labeled without names such as "Person A") — names, dates of birth and face comparison data are never sent
PurposeCreating an edit plan with the clip choices, order, captions and diary text
RecipientGoogle LLC (Google Cloud Vertex AI, via Firebase AI Logic)
RetentionThe Company does not keep the photos sent or the results on any server. Google deletes the cache used for processing within 24 hours and does not use the data sent to train models.

Place names are obtained on iPhone only, by converting the coordinates recorded in the photo into a place name on the device using Apple's map service. Exact coordinates and street addresses are not sent to Google. You can turn this off in the App's Settings > "Send place names too". On Android, coordinates are not converted into place names, and context such as places you often visit or new places is counted only on the device.

If you do not consent, no photos are sent, and you can still make videos in time order on your device. To prevent abuse, Firebase App Check uses a token that confirms the device is running the genuine app (App Attest on iPhone, Play Integrity on Android); this token contains no information that identifies you.

2-1. Information sent when you make photos in AI Studio

When you tap "Make" in AI Studio (Photoshoot, At Age 20, Family Photo, Profile Photo, Hairstyles), we show you the photos that will be sent and ask for your consent the first time, then send the following to Vertex AI (Gemini image models) on Google Cloud.

What is sentUp to 4 photos you choose from your library (each cropped to the area around the largest face down to the shoulders, 1024px on the long side), and the concept you chose (e.g. "Wedding photoshoot") — names, birthdays and face comparison data are never sent
PurposeCreating new photos in the chosen concept
RecipientGoogle LLC (Google Cloud Vertex AI, via Firebase AI Logic)
RetentionThe Company does not keep the photos sent or the photos made on any server. Photos you make stay only on this device, and go into the Photos app (a dedicated album) only when you tap Save. Google deletes the cache used for processing within 24 hours and does not use the data sent to train models.

Photos made in AI Studio carry an "AI" mark in the App and on saved copies so that it is clear they were made with AI. Photos saved to the Photos app are excluded from what the App looks through again (people grouping and highlights). Profile photos cannot be used as passport or ID photos. You can withdraw consent in the App's Settings > "Send face photos to the Studio".

3. Payments

Payments for subscriptions and AI Studio passes are processed by Apple on iPhone and by Google Play on Android. The Company does not receive your payment method or store account information. The App checks and keeps only whether a subscription is active and your pass balance (on iPhone, through StoreKit and the device keychain; on Android, through the Google Play Billing Library, device storage and Block Store in your Google account — so passes remain even if you delete and reinstall the App).

4. Crash reports

What we receiveRecords from when the App crashes or hits an error: where the error occurred, the names of the steps the App went through (e.g. "render start"), device model, operating system (iOS or Android) version, app version, and a random identifier used only for this installation
What we do not receivePhotos, captions, diaries, names, email addresses, location, advertising identifiers
PurposeUsed only to find and fix the causes of crashes and errors. We do not identify or track you.
Recipient and retentionGoogle LLC (Firebase Crashlytics). Records are deleted after 90 days.

5. Information we do not collect

There is no sign-up, and we do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers or advertising identifiers. Location is not collected or stored, except for briefly using the place names in Section 2 to create an edit plan (place names are kept only on this device so they do not have to be looked up again). The App contains no advertising or usage analytics tools.

6. Your rights

You can change or withdraw photo access at any time in your device settings (iPhone Settings; on Android, Settings > Apps > Fantasy Memory > Permissions). You can delete the edit plans and videos left on your device with "Delete everything I made" in the App's Settings. Because the Company does not keep your information, there is no server data to access or delete separately.

7. Children

The App can be used without age restrictions and does not separately collect children's personal information. A child's face photo is sent as described in Section 2-1 only when you, as their guardian, choose it in AI Studio and give consent.
